Veterans Day Parade 2019

The 2019 Fayetteville Veterans Day Parade will be held 9 November 2019 beginning at 10 AM in historic downtown Fayetteville. The theme this year is Celebrating Gold Star Families. In our town Veterans Day is every Day and every Veteran honored for their service and sacrifice to keep our Freedom Free.

The Parade Committee and Cumberland County Veterans Council is hoping to exceed the 69 entrants in the 2018 Parade. Fayetteville and surrounding areas Let’s make it happen and break 100 entry’s including active duty military and military equipment, JROTC and ROTC units, marching bands from the military, local high schools and universities, numerous Veteran’s organizations. The Parade Map, Lineup Instructions and Parade Application are all found on this website along with information on the Cumberland County Veterans Council.

The Parade will begin on Hay Street by the Airborne Special Operations Museum and at the end of Cool Spring and Pearson Streets. Parade entry numbers will be mailed out in October to those approved for entry.

All applications and questions need to be submitted prior to 14 October in either of the following: Fayetteville Parks and Recreation on Lamon Street or mailed to Cumberland County Veterans Council, PO Box 2862, Fayetteville, NC 28301
